Beta FAQ

We are putting together all the information that is going into Beta but in the meantime I can answer a couple of questions, This thread will remain locked until the Beta sign up has started. I will update this list as often as I get a chance to here we are very very busy!


Will the servers be online for the entire duration of Beta

We can not promise 100% up time during the beta due to nature of testing but it is our intention to keep them online 24/7 during that time period there may be a couple of schedule outages and pending the results some further downtime.

How do I contribute Money?

Not yet, but thank you for the offer and we may need it, however we may do it in a form of a pre-order as we get closer to release. We will see how this works out over the next couple months

What skills do I get?

You will get enough to have some fun while you do it, you will not get all of them and some progression features will be disabled however this one may change...(Not in stone)

When the Beta ends can I keep my stuff

Nope, this is beta is not a marketing tool which most companies use it for. We are doing this to test the world with many players and due to the nature of this game with open world housing and some other goodies everyone will start at the same time

When you give times what zone?

GMT -7:00 Hours - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Will there be world bosses?

Yes but I doubt you will be able to kill them at first, but you are more then welcome to try!

Will there be some quests

Yes but only minor ones for this part, remember this is not a quest centric game but there will be some quest NPC's

How long will beta last

The length is not fully determined, it will at minimum 2 weeks though pending the results of our testing.

How long is the beta going to last

The beta will be split into (2) - phases and focus on very different things to help test internal systems on a large scale. We are working to get this information out to before the end of the month! The beta period will be short though we are afraid not super short but short (I know that makes no sense).

When is more information coming out!

The sign up and announcement will begin at the end of January, we are working hard to get everything sorted out. We will give you a hint, you will be signing up for Beta not from us.

What if I don't get a Beta Key!

The people who have supported us and the Kick-starter folks will start to reap their rewards and will receive a Beta key, we will contact once sign up has begun.

Can I explore the entire world of Malu in Beta

No you can not sadly, we are still working hard on polishing up the land mass, we will make sure you have a large enough area to not feel constricted.
