Origins of Malu is a universe teeming with freedom, creativity, and power; the power to be who you want to be and the ability to play how you want to play. We have heard the voices of fellow gamers, and we are here to answer the call. We are an Indie Studio developing this world the way the community has been asking for years. This is a game built by gamers for gamers.
Our goal is to bring soul into our world by immersing players into a rich environment filled with detailed storylines and interactive gameplay. Our narrative adds depth to the otherwise shallow market currently available.
But our game has more than a good story; we offer original stunning visuals that are beyond the status quo. Below is just a taste of our upcoming features and concepts for the game. Enjoy!

Changing Persistent World
In real life, our world is anything but static. It is flowing, changing, and evolving by the caprices of our mind. In Origins, the plants will grow, people will build homes, and players will create factions. The world belongs to the players, but even in nature there are devices to maintain a balance.
Actions made by players will change the physical environment of the world, creating everlasting changes that continue to affect the world long after they were set in motion. Ambitious players can even control open areas on the world, building their own homes there for all to see or hidden deep in some forgotten lands.

No Class Restrictions
We did not want the traditional class system to constrain players, yet we still understand they have a purpose and a history. Origins of Malu is essentially a classless game where you can customize your character free of most limits.
You can dive into different specializations to tailor your character to meet your needs. Though if you crave the traditional class system, you can still build characters to fulfill certain roles and specialize in them to the full extent.

Open World Structure Systems
Ever find the perfect plot of land and want to build a house there? Lots of games would say no. But Origins of Malu gives you that chance within reason. A careful amount of time has gone into making sure we can provide players the ability to have an open world player housing system. Our system ensures the least amount of restrictions and provide the community with the tools to create their house the way they want to build it.
It doesn't’t stop there though, in Origins of Malu you can build Guild cities and later turn them into factions. We have a lot of plans, but for the first release we can only do so much!

Dynamic Challenging Battles
One of the perks to creating Origins is designing situations that steal you away from the doldrums of everyday life and drop you head first into the unexpected of our game. Boss fights will always be different. You can never use the same strategy because bosses learn your tactics and evolve. This system is not just reserved for bosses; almost all creatures of Malu will have a variable nature.
And we don't want simple mindless combat. While there are times when chopping your opponent’s head is appealing, a more challenging and rewarding prey always lurks. And chances are it’s already hunting for you.

Power to the People (Player Controlled Factions)
Can you handle the power to create your own society? While a position of influence can bring prosperity and peace, power can also bring a volatile blend of discord and conflict among your people. Use it wisely as you create your own guild and join up with other guilds to create a larger faction.
These factions hold evolving territory so no server will be identical. For example, if a faction dominates a server for months, we will provide the tools for uprising. The success of your possible rebellion is up to you. Moreover, creating an uprising does not promise an easy life either. There will be no PVE or PVP servers. The fate of the server is in your hands.

Strategic and Tactical PVP
Origins of Malu supports large encounters on a wide scale. By not following a strict PVP style, we can provide players with a unique challenge. Similar to our boss and creature battles, our player conflicts requires a sharp mind as well as a quick hand. To ensure victory, you will have to adapt and think differently about encountering enemies.
We have borrowed elements from First Person Shooters and Real Time Strategy games that forces players to stay aware of the strategic aspect not just the tactical fight. You will have resources to collect and build up to increase your fighting prowess. But you will still need battle harden skills to execute the strategic direction.

Powerful Crafting System
Storylines and battles are important, but we didn't’t forget about crafting! The importance of crafting will range from day-to-day purposes; such as building unique types of materials for housing and tweaking magic spells. As well as include managing your crafting skill set to cultivate and maintain your environment. Since the world is directly affected by your actions, investing resources into crafting can lead to a prosperous and influential character.
Crafting will be as integral as you make it. Though crafters can be an important resource for factions, if you have no desire to craft, then you don’t have to craft. But if you are a die-hard crafter, you can create an entire world of possibilities as well as make a game with just this skill set.

AI Controlled Quest Systems
If you are tired of quests repeating the same plot, along with the aggravation of waiting for a respawn because another player just completed your quest, then Origins of Malu is your game. While we may not offer the tradition copious amounts of bland missions, we do produce rousing quests that delve deep into our rich anthology.
We believe in story advancement that actually pulls you into the story, not a weak string of somewhat related ideas to move the game along. AI (Artificial Intelligence) allows us to provide a dynamic quest system that dictates specific quest lines that are customized for you and only occur once. We will provide more information on this very soon!
